Short-trip ticket ABO Flex

Our Short-trip ticket ABO Flex was designed for short rides by train, S-Bahn, tram or bus in Leipzig. An ABO Flex gets you a discount on short ride single tickets against a monthly basic fee of 6.90 euros.

Fare Information

valid for one person and for one trip
applicable for trams and buses within city transport area Leipzig (fare zone 110) for up to four stops not counting the embarking station
valid for all four stops within the Leipzig city tunnel, i.e. between the stops at each end of the tunnel: Leipzig Hauptbahnhof (subterranean train station) and Leipzig Bayerischer Bahnhof
changing vehicles not permitted
must be validated before travelling
is not transferable to other people (photo ID required)

Special features

For a monthly fee of 6,90 EUR you can purchase a base card*.

The base card includes no tickets, but acts as a token allowing you to use certain validated tickets as described.

Discounted tickets can be bought cashless from service centres at the Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe and from stationary and mobile ticket machines. At the DB Regio from stationary ticket machines with immediate payment.

The Short-trip ticket ABO Flex is also available via MOOVME.

The free public transport journey planner and ticket app for Central Germany helps you get from point A to B quickly and reliably. Whether you want to go by S-Bahn (urban rail), bus or train – information on departure times or short-term timetable changes is provided in real time.

A requirement for the cashless purchase via MOOVME is an ABO Flex agreement from DB Regio or the Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe.

Payment is monthly via the contractual party (transport company).
