Short-trip ticket ABO Flex

Our Short-trip ticket ABO Flex was designed for short rides by train, S-Bahn, tram or bus.

An ABO Flex gets you a discount on short ride single tickets against a monthly basic fee of 6.90 euros.

Fare Information

• valid for one person and for one trip
• applicable for trams and buses within city transport areas Leipzig (fare zone 110) and Halle (fare zone 210) for up to four stops not counting the embarking station
• valid for all four stops within the Leipzig city tunnel, i.e. between the stops at each end of the tunnel: Leipzig Hauptbahnhof (subterranean train station) and Leipzig Bayerischer Bahnhof
• changing vehicles not permitted
• must be validated before travelling
• is not transferable to other people (photo ID required)

Special features

For a monthly payment of EUR 6.90, you can acquire an chip card, which is a base card. It entitles you to the following discounted tickets:

• Single ticket ABO Flex
• Short ride single ticket ABO Flex
• Surcharge ticket ABO Flex

The discount can amount to 50% of the ticket price.

LVB subscribers who use Move+ can not acquire an chip card.

The chip card on its own does not entitle to any transit rides. It is only valid in conjunction with one of the tickets listed, when validated (with the exception of LVB Move+ subscribers).

Some transit companies issue cashless tickets as part of an ABO subscription at stationary and mobile ticket machines as well as at their service points. All other transport companies issue discounted tickets against immediate payment.

Purchase ABO Flex Tickets with the MOOVME App

ABO Flex customers can buy discounted or non-discounted tickets – as an alternative to using the chip card – cashlessly via their mobile phone service, if they provide their mobile phone number for identification.

Invoicing is carried out by means of a monthly settlement by the transit company that you made the ABO Flex contract with.
