MDV has a special offer for the 2020 summer vacation: the FerienTicket Sachsen . It allows students to travel all over Saxony and the MDV region by train, S-Bahn, tram or bus during their entire vacation.
The pass will be available at the customer centres of transit companies in the Free State of Saxony starting April 2020 .

Who is eligible for these offers? All school students, trainees or participants in a voluntary social or ecological year and in the Federal Voluntary Service up until their 21st birthday may use the FerienTicket Sachsen.
A valid student ID or a network customer card (customer card of a participating transit network) is sufficient as proof of eligibility.
Hints and tips The use of the Augustusburg cable cars is included. A one-time round trip at half price with the Fichtelbergbahn, a one-time round trip from Bad Schandau to Hrensko with the Weißeritzbahn, a one-time round trip with the Waldeisenbahn Muskau, the Lößnitzgrundbahn or the “Wanderschiff” are also included in the pass.
